Description
1 and 2 Manor Street are a pair of cottages, likely dating from at least the 17th century, with early 19th century and 20th century alterations. They are timber-framed and rendered with incised masonry patterns, featuring a plain-tile roof and a brick ridge stack. The cottages have a single-unit plan, are two storeys tall with an attic, and have a two-window range.
The entrance to No. 2, located on the left, has a 20th century four-panel door approached by one stone step. No. 1 has a 20th century stable door to the right of centre, along with 16-pane sash windows on the ground floor. The first floor also has similar sash windows. There are two gabled roof dormer windows, with the one on the right being smaller than the other.
