Description

The French tomb, located near the Church Street entrance to the south side of the Old Churchyard in Buckingham, is a chest tomb from the early 19th century. It is made of Portland stone and sits on a York stone plinth. The tomb is square in shape, featuring moulded pilasters at the corners and a shaped top. It commemorates various members of the French family, starting with William French, who died in 1773.
