Description
Mordaboys is a pair of estate cottages dating from the early 17th century, with alterations made in the early 19th century. The cottages are 1½ storeys tall and feature attics. They are constructed with a timber frame and have a rough-cast rendered exterior. The thatched roof is complemented by thatched gabled dormers, which have cusped and pierced bargeboards. There are 19th-century gault brick chimneys with sunk panels on the shafts. The windows include 18th and 19th-century casements with leaded lights. The entrance doors, added in the 20th century, are sheltered by hipped thatched open porches supported by timber posts.
