Description

Cragpit Farm Cottage is a pair of cottages dating from the 16th or 17th century, with 19th and 20th-century extensions and alterations. The cottages are timber framed and have a plastered exterior, topped with a thatched roof that extends over the left and right porches. There is a central chimney stack, and the cottages are one storey with attics, featuring two gabled dormers. At the rear, there are single-storey extensions with grey slate roofs. The windows consist of two small paned, two-light casements, and there are two vertically boarded doors. Notably, there is a tusk tenon aligned with the chimney stack, and heavy chamfered bridging joists can be seen inside.
