Description

Elwy Cottages is a pair of cottages that date from the 17th or 18th century, with later alterations and additions. They are constructed with a timber frame and plastered exterior, topped with a half hipped roof covered in red plain tiles. A central red brick chimney stack is present, along with a rear left extension. The cottages are one storey with attics, featuring four gabled dormers and a range of four casement windows. There are two vertically boarded doors with flat canopies supported by brackets, and the door on the right is accessed by steps. Some of the timber framing is visible on the interior.
