Description

Little Barns is a pair of cottages dating from the 17th century. They are timber framed and plastered, topped with a red plain tile roof. The cottages are two storeys high, with a single storey extension at the north end. There is a four-window range featuring both 17th century and 20th century leaded casements. An original red brick chimney stack with diagonal attached shafts is present. At the rear, some original chevron pargetting can be seen. Inside, some of the original frame is exposed, showcasing stop-chamfered beams.
