Description

Tingey Hole Cottage is a house dating from the early to mid 16th century. It is timber framed and plastered, topped with a red plain tile roof. The cottage has one storey and attics, featuring 20th-century casement windows and a gabled dormer. There is a later extension made of brick, which also has a thatched roof. The cottage includes red brick chimney stacks on the end walls. Inside, original framing is still visible, including traces of a smoke hood.
