Description

Green Valley is a house dating back to the 15th and 16th centuries, originally constructed with a timber frame and plaster, and later featuring a red plain tile roof. It comprises a gabled, formerly jettied crosswing and a hall range rebuilt in the 16th century. The front has a 11-window arrangement with 17th-century leaded casement windows. A modern gabled porch with a red plain tile roof has been added. A 16th-century red brick chimney stack, rebuilt at the top and featuring four square shafts, is also present. Internally, portions of the original timber frame remain visible, including jowled storey posts and cambered tie beams.
