Description

Rose Cottage and Garden Cottage are a pair of cottages dating from the 17th century, remodelled in the 18th century. They are timber-framed and have plastered walls. The cottages are single-storey with attics, and have a peg-tile gabled roof with a slightly mansard form. Each unit has a central door flanked by a two-light casement window with a single horizontal glazing bar. Small brick stacks are on the gable ends, and there is a dormer window at the rear.
