Description

No. 7 School Lane is a house dating from the 17th century or earlier. It is a two-storey structure with a timber frame and plastered exterior, featuring an 'L' shaped plan and gabled roofs covered with machine-made plain tiles. The front of the house has an off-centre lean-to with a porch hood made of peg tiles. It also includes 19th-century horizontal sliding sash windows and casements, all with small panes. There is a large red brick chimney stack located off-centre along the ridge line, with another stack positioned behind the ridge line and on the rear wing. The front wall displays old pargetting.
