Description

This is a terrace of three cottages, dating from the 17th and 18th centuries, originally timber-framed and now plastered. They are arranged as one storey with attics, and have a peg tile roof, hipped at each end, with two gabled dormers. The windows are a mix of 2-light and single-light 19th-century casements with small panes. The cottages have two red brick stacks along the ridge line and a gable end stack at the west end. A peg tile roofed lean-to extension is attached to the east end. Each front door has a bracketed hood. Group value: The cottages contribute to the character of the area.
