Description

The Cottage is a 17th or 18th century timber-framed and plastered cottage, consisting of one storey and attics. It features a large thatched gabled dormer in a half-hipped thatched roof, along with a taller modern thatched extension at the rear. There are also modern lean-to extensions at the back. The cottage has modern casement windows with leaded lights and an off-centre brick stack above a 17th century fireplace. Inside, there are some stop-chamfered beams and arch bracing in the north end wall.
