Description

Black Cat Cottage is a 17th or 18th century cottage that features a timber frame and plastered exterior. It has one storey and attics, with a thatched roof that has a hip at the northeast end and a gable at the southwest end, where it transitions to a narrower thatched extension with a gabled roof. The windows are modern casements, each with a single horizontal glazing bar. The front roof slope includes two thatched gabled dormers, and there is a small brick chimney stack located on the ridge line.
