Description

This barn, located southwest of Little Laver Grange, dates from the mid-16th century and is constructed from timber framing with weatherboarding. It features a red plain tile roof that is gabled at the north end and half-hipped at the south. The barn is five bays long and showcases a high-quality frame that includes curved wall bracing, arch-braced tie beams, and a Queen post roof. The top plates have halved and bladed scarfs. Additionally, there is a gabled midstrey on the east side, which is a 17th-century extension that includes angle ties.
