Description
Red House is a house dating from the 16th century, with alterations from the 17th and 18th centuries. It is constructed with a timber frame and stock brick, which is now all plastered, and has red plain tile roofs. The building has two storeys and features a crosswing at the west end with a hipped roof. The front has a range of three windows on the upper floor and two on the lower floor, fitted with 19th-century vertical sliding sashes. There is a lean-to porch, and later extensions have been added at the rear. Red brick chimney stacks are present on the building.
