Description

Thatchers Rest is a pair of cottages dating from the late 17th century, with alterations from the 19th century and renovations and additions from the 20th century. The cottages are timber-framed and plastered, resting on a brick plinth, and feature a thatched roof. They are one storey high with an attic. There is a ridge stack located to the right of the center and an external gable end stack on the left side. The ground floor has three horizontal sliding sash windows and two 20th-century halved boarded doors. Additionally, there are five eyebrow dormer windows with horizontal sliding sashes.
