Description

The Limes is a late 17th century farmhouse constructed of red brick with irregular banding and features a steeply pitched, hipped plain tile roof. The building has two storeys and includes rear wings, presenting a symmetrical facade. It is adorned with two similar brick stacks that have moulded cornices and plastered pilasters. A coved cornice runs along the eaves, and there is a three-course brick band between the floors. Brick pilasters are located at the quoins of the two-storey gabled porch and at the corners of the house. The facade includes three hung sash windows with glazing bars on the first floor and two on the ground floor, all set in moulded wooden frames. The entrance features a moulded doorcase with a panelled door.
