Description

5 and 7 Spring Lane are a pair of cottages dating from the early 19th century. They are timber-framed and plastered, topped with a slated roof. The cottages feature a brick plinth, a gable end stack on the left side, and two tall ridge stacks. They are two storeys high and have a long range that runs parallel to the street. There are two entrances, along with two 20th-century canted hung sash bay windows that have replaced the former hung sash windows. Additionally, there are two ground floor and five first floor sixteen-paned hung sash windows with flush wooden frames.
