Description

This is a row of cottages dating to the 17th century, located on the north side of Church Road in Tattingstone. The cottages are constructed with an exposed timber frame and painted brick infill, topped with a thatched roof featuring gabled returns. Red brick chimney stacks are positioned off-centre to the right and left of the rear. The cottages are one storey in height with attics, and have four gabled dormers. The ground floor has six windows, each a two-light casement with a central transom. Two centrally located vertically boarded doors are set within simple surrounds.
