Description

A row of three cottages located at Church Ponds, Castle Hedingham, dating from the 17th century or earlier, with subsequent alterations. The cottages are timber-framed with red brick facing on the front elevation, except for the first floor of number 14, which is plastered. They have a red plain tiled roof and a red brick chimney stack on the rear. The cottages are two storeys high, with a four-window range to the first floor and a three-window range to the ground floor. The windows are a mix of small-paned casements, vertically sliding sashes, and small-paned three-light vertically sliding sashes. There are three vertically boarded doors.
