Description

Two cottages, numbered 24 and 26, located on Church Ponds, date from the 16th century or earlier, with 19th century and later alterations and additions. The cottages are timber framed and plastered on the right side, while the left side is faced with painted brick. They have a red plain tiled roof and an off-centre red brick chimney stack. The buildings are two storeys high and feature a 2:1 window arrangement, including 20th century three-light casements and small-paned vertically sliding sash and casement windows. There is a 20th century half-glazed door on the left and two vertically boarded doors on the right. A drip board is present on the ground floor of number 24.
