Description

The Bakery is a shop with living accommodation, primarily dating from the 19th century but possibly having earlier origins. It features a red brick facade with pilaster strips on either side and a red plain and ornate tiled roof. The building is two storeys high and has three vertically sliding sash windows, each with keystones above gauged brick arches. The left and center ground floor shop windows are fitted with two-light fanlights, with a door situated between them. This recessed door is part-glazed and topped with a fanlight, and it has reveal panels and a moulded surround, supported by scroll brackets beneath a moulded flat canopy.
