Description

13 Watergate is a shop with living accommodation above, dating from the 19th century. The building has three storeys and two bays, with a roughcast exterior and a slate roof featuring a brick chimney on the left front slope. At the right end, there is a giant wooden pilaster. The second floor has inward opening windows, each with six panes, while the first floor features four-pane sash windows. On the ground floor, a steep step leads down to a central four flush panelled door, which is part of a 19th-century shop front. This shop front is flanked by two windows, each with six lights, and includes a continuous fascia and a coved cornice.
