Description
10 Watergate is a two-storey building with an attic, featuring a steeply-pitched hipped slate roof and scribed stucco exterior. The elevation facing Watergate has an asymmetrical arrangement of windows. On the first floor, there are three 12-pane sash windows, with the left window being longer than the others. The ground floor has two adjoining doorways; the right-hand doorway includes a doorcase, while the left doorway lacks a doorcase but has a shallow rectangular overlight, with both doorways fitted with half-glazed modern doors. To the right, there are two 2-light shop windows.
The building has a curved corner with two 12-pane sash windows on the first floor. The 19th-century shop front features two shop windows, each with three three-centred headed lights, set within a casing of pilasters, fascia, and cornice that extends over a half-glazed shop door and an additional window. The southeast side continues with a large rectangular chimney stack near the eaves and another 12-pane sash window on the first floor.
