Description
6 Watergate is part of a row of four three-storey buildings, numbered 4, 5, 6, and 7, each featuring two windows. Nos. 4 and 5 have convex facades, while No. 6 is finished in pebbledash, and Nos. 4 and 5 have scribed render, with No. 7 having a smooth render. The buildings have a slate hipped roof with overhanging eaves and a band at first floor sill level, along with end pilasters and a plinth.
On the second floor, there are square six-pane hopper windows, and the first floor features twelve-pane sash windows. The ground floors of Nos. 5, 6, and 7 each have a tripartite small-pane sash window, with No. 6 having a moulded architrave. The doorways are located to the left in Nos. 5 and 7, and to the right in No. 6, which has a rusticated doorway and a modern half-glazed door.
