Description

This is a cottage known as Melford, dating from the 17th century or earlier, with later alterations. It is timber framed and has a painted brick facade at the front. The roof is covered with red plain tiles, and there is a red brick chimney stack on the right side. The cottage has one storey and attics, featuring two flat-headed dormers. There are two windows that consist of vertically sliding sashes with glazing bars and horns. The central entrance is a vertically boarded door, with double vertically boarded doors to the left.
