Description
No. 1 Falcon Square is a house that dates back to the 16th century or earlier, with alterations and extensions made in the 18th century and later. The building features a combination of timber framing and plaster, along with some painted brick facing, and is topped with red plain tiled roofs. It has an off-centre right and an external left red brick chimney stack. The house has a complex layout, including two levels of rear roofs and three forward gables of different sizes, with the right crosswing featuring a jetty. There is a small single-storey extension at the rear left, which includes 20th-century small paned casements. The house is two storeys high and has a window arrangement of 1:1:1, showcasing various 19th-century vertical sliding sashes with horns, 19th-century casements with glazing bars, and 20th-century square leaded casements. The right crosswing has 20th-century square leaded casements in oriels. A blocked semi-circular brick arch is located above the left ground floor window, and there is a 20th-century door on the left return.
