Description

Ashley Cottage is a cottage dating to the 17th century or earlier, with later alterations. It is timber-framed and rendered with a red plain tiled roof. A central chimney stack is built of red brick. The cottage has two storeys and attics, with a three-window front featuring small-paned vertically sliding sash windows. A central, red brick porch was added in the 19th century. The gable has a dentilled soffit, and the doorway is segmented with a six-panel door.
