Description

The Thatched Cottage is a small cottage that dates from the 17th century or earlier. It features a timber frame with plaster and a thatched roof. The cottage has a red brick chimney stack with two attached diagonal shafts and a painted brick lean-to on the right side. The front has a range of three windows with various casements and a central door that is vertically boarded with two lights. Inside, there are exposed timber beams.
