Alveston Cottage is a cottage that dates from the 17th century or earlier, with later alterations. It is constructed with a timber frame and has a plastered exterior. The roof is thatched and hipped to the right, featuring a central gabled dormer. There is an off-centre red brick chimney stack. The cottage is one storey high with attics and has a three-window range of small paned casements. The entrance is through an off-centre boarded door.
