Description

March Cottage is a cottage that dates from the 17th century or earlier. It is constructed with a timber frame and has a plastered exterior. The roof is thatched and half hipped to the left, featuring a central gabled dormer. There is a red brick chimney stack located to the left of the building. The cottage is one storey with attics and has two 19th-century two-light casement windows with pentice boards above them. The central entrance has a vertically boarded door, also with a pentice board above. Inside, there are exposed ceiling beams.
