Description

Georges is a cottage dating from the 17th century, with alterations and additions. A plaque indicates it was built around 1663. The structure is timber framed and plastered, featuring 20th-century pargetting. It has a half-hipped roof covered with red plain tiles, which includes three gabled dormers. The cottage is one storey high with attics and has a three-window range of diamond leaded casements. There is a 20th-century red tiled, gabled, and glazed porch with a 20th-century board door. An external red brick chimney stack is also present. The house was recorded on the site in 1799.
