Description
Martins Farmhouse is a house that dates from the 17th century or earlier, with a 20th-century extension at the rear and a 20th-century porch to the right. The building is timber framed and plastered, topped with a red plain tiled roof. It has two storeys, featuring a four-window range on the first floor and a two-window range on the ground floor, all with various diamond leaded casements. The central entrance includes a 20th-century plank and muntin door with a pediment above, along with a glazed 20th-century door leading to the extension. Inside, there are chamfered beams and a side purlin roof structure. The house has been recorded on the site since 1508 and again in 1711.
