The barn comprises eight bays aligned north-west to south-east, with two midstreys (internal divisions) towards the south-west. The roof is gambrel-shaped, with a half-hip at each end. The barn is constructed with pegged joints. It features primary straight bracing, short curved braces to the tiebeams, and collars on raking struts.
