Description
This is an early to mid-17th century timber-framed barn located south of Oaks and Bushes. It is a 6-bay barn with a corrugated asbestos, half-hipped roof. The barn has heavy studded wall plates and side girts in the aisle, with primary wind braces above the side girts. It features braced tie beams, cranked Queen struts, and side purlins. The main wall struts appear to be reused elements from the late 14th century.
