Description

Tollesburys is a house dating from the 16th century or earlier, with later additions and alterations. It has an irregular half-H shaped plan, featuring a projecting crosswing on the right with a lower roofline and a jettied crosswing on the left. The house is timber framed and plastered. It has two storeys and a window arrangement of 1:3:2 on the first floor, while the ground floor has a 1:2:3 window range. The windows are 20th-century square leaded casements. A 20th-century red-tiled gabled porch shelters a board door. A red brick chimney stack is visible.
