Description
Delvyn's Farmhouse is a house that dates from the late 18th century or early 19th century, with a possible earlier core. It is constructed of plastered brick and features double range grey slate roofs with stepped gables. There are plastered chimney stacks at each gable apex and a matching stack at the center of the rear range. The building has two storeys and a five-window range of 19th-century small paned vertically sliding sashes, with keystones on the first floor and drip hoods on the ground floor. A central band runs across the facade. The central crenellated porch has a two-centred arch opening, with a drip hood above that has face stops. The door is also two-centred arched with small paned glazing and a matching fanlight above that features curved glazing bars. To the left, there is a matching single-storey crenellated extension. Inside, the farmhouse has good contemporary details, including doors, architraves, wainscots, window mouldings, and a staircase.
