Description
St Mary's Farmhouse is a house dating from the 18th to 19th century, constructed of plastered brick with a hipped grey slate roof. It features plastered chimney stacks with moulded capping on both the right and left sides. The building is two storeys high and has a central band. The front has a three-window range of small paned vertically sliding sashes, with reveal arches on the ground floor. The central entrance consists of a six-panelled door, also with reveal arches, topped by a semi-circular light. Fluted columns with moulded capitals and bases support a moulded flat canopy above the door. At the rear, there are lower hipped ranges made of matching materials. Inside, the farmhouse includes six-panelled doors, moulded architraves, wainscots, and a stick baluster staircase with a wreathed handrail.
