Description
Palfryman's Cottage is a cottage that dates from the 17th century or earlier, with alterations and additions made in the 18th century and later. It has a timber frame and is faced with red brick from the 18th century, with plastered returns. The cottage features an off-centre left red brick chimney stack and is one storey high with attics. There are three gabled dormers and four 20th-century three-light diamond leaded casements. A 20th-century outshot porch is present, which includes a matching two-light window and a vertically boarded door. Internally, bridging and flat section ceiling beams are visible. The cottage is included for its group value.
