Description

Church Cottage is a cottage that dates back to the 17th century and was largely rebuilt in the 18th century. The structure features red brick that has replaced much of the earlier timber framing, and it has a hipped thatch roof with brick ridge stacks. The cottage is one storey with an attic and has slightly irregular window arrangements, including two ground floor casements on the right and two attic dormers. There is a 20th-century porch on the left with a hipped roof. The right-hand end wall displays exposed timber framing with square panels and straight braces filled with brick. This building is included for its group value.
