Description

Lavender Cottage is a cottage that dates from the 17th century or earlier, with alterations and additions from the 18th century and later. It is constructed with a timber frame and plastered exterior, topped with a red plain tiled roof. The cottage features an off-centre red brick chimney stack and is one storey high with attics. There are three gabled dormers and six 20th-century diamond leaded casement windows. A gabled porch leads to a 20th-century door. Inside, there are flat section ceiling beams and some wall studs, along with an inglenook fireplace.
