Description

Lower Hyde Cottage is a cottage that dates from the 17th century or earlier, with later alterations. It is constructed with a timber frame and has a plastered exterior. The roof is thatched and features a gabled dormer. A central red brick chimney stack is present. The cottage has one storey and attics, and it includes a range of three windows with casements and central transoms. There is an off-centre 20th-century door with a toplight, and pent ice boards are found on the doors and windows. Inside, there are exposed ceiling beams.
