Description
Saling Stores and Post Office is a house and shop located in Great Saling. The rear section dates back to the 17th century, with later additions. The building features a timber frame and is covered in panel parget plaster. The main range on the right has a hipped red tiled roof, while there is a gabled wing to the left and a rear wing. A red brick chimney stack is situated on the left side. The building is two storeys high and has two 18th-century small paned vertically sliding sash windows on the first floor of the main range, along with two similar windows on the left side of the ground floor. To the right, there is a 19th-century bay shop window with a recessed glazed door. On the left, there is a flat-headed enclosed porch leading to a four-panelled door with two lights in a moulded surround.
