Description
This building is a cottage from the 17th century, now serving as an outbuilding located at the rear of Daybrook and in the garden of Holly Cottage. It is constructed with a timber frame and weatherboarding, topped with a half-hipped roof covered in red plain tiles. The structure is one storey high with an attic. It features a vertically boarded door and two 19th-century casement windows on the right side of the lower range extension. There are also two 17th-century leaded casements with original ironmongery. A central red brick chimney stack, which does not break the ridge, still has its original fireplace and bake oven flue. The interior has a brick floor. This building is notably unaltered and holds good group value.
