Description

This building is a cottage located at 89 Guildford Road, dating from the 17th century with 19th-century extensions to the rear. It features a timber frame with red and brown brick cladding, and the exposed frame is visible on the right-hand return front, with brick infill. The roof is plain tiled. The cottage is one storey with an attic, and it has two gabled casement through-eaves dormers and offset end stacks. On the ground floor, there are two three-light casement windows with tiled cills. The central door is set in a porch with a pentice roof supported by wooden posts. There is a wing at the rear that is at right angles to the main structure, featuring casement windows.
