Description
Holly Bush Cottage is a cottage dating from the 17th century, with alterations from the 18th century and an extension added to the rear right in the 20th century. The cottage is timber framed, featuring red and brown brick cladding on the center and left sides, while the right side is tile hung. It has a plain tiled roof with an offset end stack on the left and another end stack on the right. The building is one storey with an attic, which includes three pent-roofed casement dormers. There are three casements on the ground floor, with the outermost ones having diamond-pane leaded glass, and a cambered head on the casement to the right of center. A planked door is located to the left of center, sheltered by a gabled open porch. To the right, there is a single-storey range that is set back. The rear of the cottage features exposed square panel framing with brick infill.
