Description

Cherry Cottage is a 17th-century cottage located on West Street in Dormansland. It features a timber-framed structure with rendered cladding at the bottom and diamond tile hanging above. The return walls are made of brick. The cottage has a steeply pitched plain tiled roof with stacks at both ends and is rectangular in shape, positioned at right angles to the street. It has two storeys and a regular arrangement of casement windows, with three on the first floor. The central entrance is a glazed door, and there is an additional door located in an open gabled porch supported by wooden posts.
