Description

Little Bassetts is a house dating from the 17th century that has been restored and extended to the right in the 20th century. The building features a timber frame that is exposed on the right side, with brick infill, while the left side is clad in brick and the first floor is tile hung. The roof is plain tiled, hipped to the right, with a ridge stack on the right and an offset end stack on the left. The house has two storeys, with four 20th-century casement windows on the first floor and larger plate glass casement windows in an irregular pattern on the ground floor. There is a ribbed door located to the left of centre. At the rear right, there is a catslide roof, and to the rear left, there is a 20th-century wing with a hip roof that is at right angles to the main front. Inside, some of the framing is visible.
