Description
Gayhouse is a house dating from the 17th century that has been restored and extended in the 20th century. It features a timber frame on a rendered plinth, with brown and red brick cladding below and a whitewashed front. The upper part is tile hung. The house has plain tiled roofs, with a front stack to the right, end stacks to the left, and rear stacks. It is one storey with an attic, featuring a gable front bay to the left and two hip roof casement dormers to the right. The ground floor windows have cambered heads. There is a planked door to the right of center, set in a pent roofed porch supported by wood on the right and a brick wall on the left. To the right, there is a single storey weatherboard range on a brick plinth, topped with a plain tiled hipped roof.
