Description

The Cottage is a late 17th-century cottage that was restored in the 20th century. It features a timber frame of thin scantling set on a stone and brick plinth, with whitewashed brick cladding below and tile hanging above. The roof is a plain tiled hipped design with a ridge stack located to the left of the center. The building has a T-shaped plan and is two storeys high, with three casement windows across the first floor and two additional windows to the right in an extension. There is a planked door to the left, situated in a gabled brick porch. A wing extends at right angles to the rear of the cottage.
